Creating Our
Community Together
Your Voice, Our Neighborhood, Our Future
Our Core Activities
At the heart of the Bouldercrest Corridor Small Area Plan is a commitment to people, place, and purpose. We work hand-in-hand with residents, youth leaders, small business owners, churches, and community partners to shape Bouldercrest Road into a thriving, connected, and sustainable corridor. Our mission is rooted in inclusive growth, environmental stewardship, and whole-community wellness — ensuring that every neighbor, from long-time residents to the next generation of homeowners, has a voice and a stake in the future we build together.
Surveys
We gather powerful, community-driven data through our 15-item Adult Survey and our youth-led Teen Survey developed with Cedar Grove High School’s Student Government Association. These surveys capture the voices of today’s residents and tomorrow’s leaders — giving urban planners, architects, and county officials the insight they need to design a Bouldercrest Corridor that reflects our shared priorities and dreams.
Community Outreach
We are boots-on-the-ground, neighbor-to-neighbor communicators. From yard signs and door flyers to social media campaigns, mailing lists, and phone banks, we ensure residents stay informed, engaged, and connected. Our outreach is designed to reach every corner of the Bouldercrest Overlay — empowering neighbors with timely updates, opportunities to participate, and information that strengthens our community.
We plan and facilitate Town Halls, Small Group Discussions, Large Community Meetings, and Decision Meetings in partnership with local stakeholders and county officials. These gatherings give residents a direct seat at the table to ask questions, share insights, and help shape the Bouldercrest Corridor Small Area Plan. Every meeting moves us forward with real feedback, real collaboration, and real community power.
Resource Guidance
We support our neighbors beyond planning and development. Our team acts as a trusted guide, connecting residents to essential resources across DeKalb County — including health and wellness programs, food security options, financial literacy support, housing assistance, senior services, and more. When our community has what it needs to thrive, we all rise together.
